USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) jatkokaapeli 10 m — AVer, USB-A - USB-A, musta

AVer USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) extension cable is a 10 m black USB A to USB A cable designed to extend USB connections where additional reach is required. It supports SuperSpeed data transfers defined by USB 3.2 Gen 1 and provides a simple way to connect peripherals, external drives, webcams and other USB devices while maintaining a single uninterrupted USB A connection over longer distances. The cable is supplied in a single-piece format and has an approximate weight of 0.3 kg.

Advantages

This extension cable enables extension of USB A connections up to 10 meters without requiring multiple adapters or hubs. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 specification ensures compatibility with SuperSpeed devices and provides higher transfer rates than earlier USB 2.0 cables. The straight USB A to USB A connectors and durable black jacket make it suitable for desktop and AV installations where a discreet, long-reach cable is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives and SSD enclosures located away from the host
• Extending webcam or conference camera placement in meeting rooms
• Linking USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, hub) when extra length is required
• Temporary or permanent workstation setups where cable routing requires extra reach

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1)
• Cable length: 10 m
• Color: Black
• Approximate weight: 0.3 kg

How to use

Plug the female USB A connector of the extension cable into the host device's USB A port or into the device to be extended, then connect the other USB A connector to the peripheral or USB device. Ensure both connected devices support USB A and the intended USB generation for optimal performance. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks along the cable length and route the cable to minimise interference from power lines or heavy machinery.

Recommendations

For reliable SuperSpeed transfers over the full 10 m length, use with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 and avoid chaining multiple extension cables. If powering high-draw USB devices, consider using a powered USB hub or a cable solution that provides external power.
