This USB4™ cable by Delock connects devices with USB Type-C™ or Thunderbolt™ 3 ports to PCs and laptops. It supports USB, DisplayPort and PCI Express data transfer and is compatible with USB4™, USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 devices. The cable is 1 m long, has gold-plated contacts and a black metal housing with reinforced strain relief for everyday durability.

Advantages

The cable supports USB4™ data rates up to 20 Gbps and maintains backward compatibility with USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 devices. It implements USB Power Delivery 3.0, delivering up to 100 W (20 V / 5 A) for charging and powering connected devices. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity while the metal connector housings and robust strain relief increase mechanical durability.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or PCs to external monitors that accept USB-C/DisplayPort Alt Mode
• Linking smartphones, tablets and external enclosures via USB-C
• Powering and charging USB PD-compatible laptops and accessories up to 100 W
• Connecting docking stations and Thunderbolt™ 3 devices where USB4™/20 Gbps is supported

Key specifications

• Connector: USB Type-C male to USB Type-C male
• Data rate: up to 20 Gbps (USB4™ / USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 compatible)
• Power delivery: USB PD 3.0 up to 100 W (20 V / 5 A)

How to use

Plug one USB Type-C connector into the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port of the PC, laptop or host device and connect the other end to the peripheral (monitor, enclosure, smartphone or docking station). If the connected devices support USB PD, power negotiation occurs automatically up to the supported wattage. For full USB4™ performance, ensure both host and peripheral support USB4™.

Recommendations

Use the cable with compatible USB4™, USB 3.2 or USB 2.0 devices and avoid excessive bending near the connector ends to preserve the strain relief. For highest data throughput and power delivery, verify device specifications and use ports that explicitly state USB4™ or USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 support.
