USB-kaapeli DeLOCK 85391 USB 3.2 Gen 1 5 m USB-A USB-C musta harmaa

The DeLOCK 85391 active USB cable extends a USB connection by 5 m and supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referenced as USB 3.1 Gen 1) for high-speed data transfer. It features a USB A connector on one end and a USB C connector on the other, and is finished in black and grey. An integrated DC power socket allows connection of an optional external power supply to maintain reliable performance with power-hungry devices such as 2.5" hard drives.

Advantages

The active design preserves signal integrity over the 5 m length, enabling stable USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfers. The combination of USB A and USB C connectors provides compatibility with a wide range of hosts and peripherals. The additional DC power socket supports external powering when connected devices require extra current, improving reliability with high-load devices.

Suitable for

• Extending a USB connection between a computer and USB-C peripherals
• Connecting external 2.5" hard drives or HDD/SSD enclosures over longer distances
• Use with USB A hosts and USB C devices where a longer cable is needed

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: USB A to USB C
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1)
• Product colour: Black, Grey
• Additional feature: DC power socket for optional external power supply

How to use

Connect the USB A plug to the host computer or USB A port and the USB C plug to the target device. If the connected device draws significant current (for example, a 2.5" hard drive), connect a compatible external power supply to the cable's DC power socket to ensure stable operation. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and route the cable to prevent strain.

Recommendations

For optimal performance with power-hungry devices, use a suitable external power adapter rated for the device's requirements and follow the device manufacturer's power guidelines.
