USB-keskitin ACT AC7081 Type-C 2500 Mbit/s alumiini

The ACT AC7081 USB-C to 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter provides a physical network connection for laptops and devices with a USB-C port. This USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) compliant adapter is USB powered and housed in an aluminium body, offering up to 2500 Mbit/s transfer capability for stable wired networking.

Advantages

The adapter converts a single USB-C port into a 2.5 Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet interface, enabling faster and more reliable wired connections compared with typical Wi-Fi. It is plug-and-play on compatible systems, requires no external power, and is constructed from durable aluminium for improved heat dissipation and portability.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops without built-in Ethernet ports to a wired network
• Users who need faster-than-Gigabit wired connections for large file transfers or streaming
• Home offices and small offices requiring stable network connections

Key specifications

• Host interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-C)
• Network interface: RJ-45 (2.5 Gigabit Ethernet)
• Maximum data rate: up to 2500 Mbit/s
• Power: USB powered (bus-powered)
• Material / colour: Aluminium

How to use

Connect an Ethernet cable from your network to the RJ-45 port on the ACT AC7081, then plug the adapter into an available USB-C port on your laptop or device. On systems with native driver support the adapter will function as a plug-and-play device; otherwise install the appropriate driver provided by the device or operating system vendor to enable 2.5 Gigabit networking.

Recommendations

For optimal performance use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables and a 2.5 Gigabit-capable switch or router. Avoid USB hubs or adapters between the AC7081 and the host USB-C port to prevent possible bandwidth or power limitations.
