USB-keskitin Terratec Connect C3

The Terratec Connect C3 is a compact USB hub designed to expand the connectivity of laptops and desktop computers with a USB Type-C host interface. Measuring 65mm x 51mm x 12mm and finished in silver, the hub integrates USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports together with an HDMI output to connect external displays. It draws power from the host USB connection and supports mainstream operating systems, providing a practical way to add ports without installing drivers.

Advantages

The hub offers high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer on both Type-C and Type-A ports and a full-size HDMI output for video connection. Its small footprint and light weight make it portable and easy to carry in a laptop bag. Being bus-powered, it requires no separate power adapter and is ready to use when connected to a compatible USB Type-C host. The silver finish is neutral and fits a wide range of device styles.

Suitable for

• Expanding ports on modern laptops with USB-C connectors
• Connecting USB-A peripherals such as external drives, keyboards and mice
• Outputting video to an external monitor, projector or TV via HDMI
• Temporary workstation setups or travel where space and weight are limited

How to use

Connect the Terratec Connect C3 to a USB Type-C port on your computer. Attach USB-A devices to the USB Type-A port and use the HDMI output to connect an external display with a standard HDMI cable. The hub is bus-powered, so no external power supply is needed; ensure the host port supplies sufficient power for connected peripherals. The hub typically functions without additional driver installation on supported operating systems.

Recommendations

For stable video output and reliable performance, connect the hub directly to a USB Type-C port on the host device rather than through another adapter. When using multiple high-power USB devices simultaneously, verify that the host provides enough power or use externally powered alternatives if required.
