USB-keskitin Terratec Connect c6

The Terratec Connect c6 is a compact USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C hub designed to expand a laptop or desktop port set with HDMI video output, wired Ethernet connectivity and additional USB Type-A ports. Housed in a slim aluminum enclosure with a silver finish, the hub supports a USB power source and is compatible with Windows 10 and Mac OS X 10.10 and later. Its dimensions are 306 mm x 28 mm x 18 mm, making it suitable for use alongside portable computers and on crowded workstations.

Advantages

The aluminum housing provides a durable yet lightweight structure that helps dissipate heat during extended use. Integration of HDMI and RJ-45 alongside USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports enables video output, stable wired network access and high-speed data transfer through a single Type-C connection. Plug-and-play operation with common desktop and laptop operating systems simplifies setup without requiring additional power adapters for typical usage.

Suitable for

• Connecting an external monitor or projector via HDMI for presentations or extended desktop use
• Establishing a reliable wired Ethernet connection where Wi‑Fi is unavailable or unstable
• Adding USB Type-A ports for external drives, peripherals and accessories

• Hub interfaces: HDMI, RJ-45 (Ethernet), USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
• Power source type: USB-powered (bus-powered)
• Housing material and colour: aluminum, silver finish
• Weight: approximately 0.103 kg
• Dimensions: 306 mm x 28 mm x 18 mm

How to use

Connect the Terratec Connect c6 to a host device using the integrated USB Type-C interface. For video output, attach an HDMI cable between the hub and the external display and select the appropriate input on the display. For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port; the host operating system should recognise the adapter automatically. Plug USB peripherals into the Type-A ports for data transfer or device connection. No external power supply is required for standard peripheral use; ensure the host provides sufficient bus power for multiple high-draw devices.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality HDMI cable and a CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable for best signal integrity. When connecting multiple high-power USB devices (external hard drives, charging devices), consider using a powered USB hub or an external power solution to avoid overloading the host’s USB port. Keep the aluminum housing ventilated during prolonged use to assist passive heat dissipation.
