USB-muistitikku Kingston 256GB USB Type-A IronKey Locker Plus 50

Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 (LP50) is a hardware-encrypted USB 3.1 flash drive that uses XTS-AES 256-bit encryption to protect stored data. The drive includes firmware safeguards against BadUSB and provides protection from brute-force password attacks. LP50 supports a multi-password setup with Admin and User accounts, offers optional automatic USBtoCloud® backup for accessing drive files from personal cloud storage, and works on both Windows and macOS without requiring additional software installation.

Advantages

The drive offers strong hardware-based XTS-AES 256-bit encryption and signed firmware to mitigate BadUSB risks. Administrator and User password roles allow recovery of access by resetting the User password if needed. A new passphrase mode permits PINs or longer phrases (10–64 characters) in addition to the Complex mode (6–16 characters using 3 of 4 character sets). Built-in conveniences include a small metal casing with a key loop, an optional USBtoCloud® backup feature, an "eye" option to reveal the typed password to reduce typos, and a virtual on-screen keyboard to protect entry from keyloggers and screenloggers.

Recommendations

Use a strong Admin password and store it securely; the Admin account can reset the User password to restore access. Choose passphrase mode for memorability or Complex mode for shorter, mixed-character passwords. Regularly back up important files to your selected personal cloud provider if you enable USBtoCloud®.
