Vaijerilukko MASTER LOCK 8229EURDPRO musta 0,9 m

The MASTER LOCK 8229EURDPRO Black 0.9 m is a cable lock engineered for everyday bicycle and general-purpose security. It combines a flexible steel cable with a protective outer coating and a coded locking mechanism to secure frames, wheels, scooters or other portable equipment. The supplied pack of four pieces allows simultaneous use on multiple items or for group needs.

Advantages

This cable lock offers a balance of flexibility and resistance: the braided steel core provides cut resistance while the vinyl sheath protects paintwork and reduces noise during handling. The integrated code mechanism removes the need for keys, simplifying shared use among family members or teams. At 0.9 m length and a 1.2 cm diameter, the cable is long enough for securing a bicycle to typical stands and compact enough for convenient transport in bags or on mounts.

Suitable for

• Securing bicycles to bike racks and posts
• Locking kick scooters, hoverboards and personal mobility devices
• Temporary locking of gates, outdoor gear or tools
• Group or multi-bike situations where several locks are needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.9 m
• Cable diameter: 1.2 cm
• Lock type: coded combination mechanism (keyless)
• Finish: black protective outer coating
• Pack quantity: 4 pieces

How to use

Wrap the cable around the object to be secured and a fixed anchor point such as a bike rack, post or sturdy frame. Thread the cable end through or around the frame component and then insert it into the lock housing. Set or enter the code to engage the lock; ensure the code digits are aligned and the mechanism is fully engaged before leaving the item unattended. Store one or more spare code settings in a secure place if using multiple locks or sharing among users.

Recommendations

For best results, choose well-lit, populated locations when securing items outdoors and combine the cable lock with a secondary lock for higher-risk situations. Periodically check the code mechanism and cable coating for wear; lubricate the code tumblers with a silicone-based spray if movement becomes stiff. When transporting the locks, coil them without sharp bends to preserve the cable integrity.
