Valotunnistin Eltako LS 20000080 — ympäristön valotunnistin valaistuksen ohjaukseen

The Eltako LS 20000080 is an ambient light detector for lighting control systems. It measures surrounding luminance and provides input for automatic switching or dimming based on configured thresholds. Designed for indoor or sheltered outdoor installation, the sensor supports energy-efficient operation and automated lighting for safety and convenience.

Advantages

The sensor delivers reliable light level measurement with straightforward integration into building lighting controls. It enables automatic response to changing daylight, reducing manual intervention and helping to optimise energy use. The compact design allows placement in a variety of sheltered locations and is compatible with common lighting control setups.

How to use

Mount the LS sensor in a location representative of ambient light conditions, avoiding direct exposure to artificial light sources or reflections that could skew measurements. Connect the sensor to the lighting control system according to the system wiring diagram and set the switching or dimming thresholds in the controller. Verify operation by observing automatic switching or dimming in response to changing light levels and adjust thresholds if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the sensor where it measures the general illumination of the area rather than individual fixtures. For sheltered outdoor use, ensure protection from direct weather exposure. Regularly check sensor alignment and clean the sensing window to maintain accurate measurements.
