Install the supplied AAA batteries in the designated compartment and set your personal combination following the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the safe. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface and position it where it remains unobstructed for access. To store items, open the safe using the combination; place belongings inside ensuring they do not interfere with the door seal, then close and scramble the code or engage the locking mechanism. In case of forgotten code or electronic failure, use one of the emergency keys to open the safe according to the key access procedure.

Recommendations

For effective security, bolt the safe to a fixed surface if permanent installation is intended and follow local guidelines for anchoring. Keep a record of the combination in a secure location separate from the safe and regularly replace batteries to avoid lockout. Avoid storing highly flammable materials, and ensure documents are dry and clean to prevent degradation inside the steel compartment.
