Verkko-patchkaapeli LOGON UTP Cat5e, 5 m, RJ-45–RJ-45, musta

LOGON UTP Cat5e patch cable, 5 m long, with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. This unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable is designed to meet Cat5e performance for Ethernet networks, supporting 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T where the connected equipment allows. The black jacket and flexible construction make it suitable for linking switches, routers, hubs, PCs and patch panels in home and office local area networks.

Advantages

The cable uses four twisted pairs (4 x 2 AWG 26/7) with a characteristic impedance of 100 ohm, providing reliable signal integrity for typical Ethernet applications. Molded boots with kink protection and strain relief reduce stress at the connector ends and extend cable life. The 5 m length offers a practical balance between reach and tidy cable management in racks or under desks.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs to switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch or switch-to-switch links within a rack
• Home network wiring and small office LANs
• Temporary network setups for testing or diagnostics

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor: 4 pairs, 26 AWG stranded (26/7)
• Impedance: 100 Ω
• Connectors: RJ-45 male on both ends with molded boot and strain relief
• Colour: Black
• Wiring: 1:1 straight-through

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of a network device (switch, router, PC or patch panel) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; use cable ties or cable management panels if needed to maintain tidy runs and prevent damage to the jacket or connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e patch cable for standard 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet links in short to moderate distances up to 5 m. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to heavy power lines or strong electromagnetic sources to minimise interference. For environments requiring shielding or higher bandwidths, consider shielded cables or higher category ratings.
