Verkko-patchkaapeli ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) PIMF RJ45–RJ45 15 m keltainen

ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP (S‑STP) PIMF RJ45 to RJ45 15 m yellow is a network patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. The cable meets Cat6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet and uses pair‑insulated multiple foil (PIMF) with an overall braid shield (S/FTP) to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with RJ‑45 connectors with gold‑plated contacts and a yellow jacket for easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 performance with enhanced shielding (S/FTP) and pair insulation (PIMF), providing stable throughput for high‑speed networks and improved protection against external noise. Gold‑plated contacts on the RJ‑45 plugs ensure reliable contact resistance and corrosion resistance over time. The 15 m length offers flexibility for linking equipment across office spaces or between network racks and wall outlets while the yellow jacket assists in cable management and quick identification.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and homes
• Structured cabling between patch panels, switches and wall outlets
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6, suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil‑shielded pairs)
• Pair insulation: PIMF (pair‑insulated, multiple foil)
• Connector types: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45 with gold‑plated contacts
• Length: 15 m
• Outer jacket color: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other plug to the device requiring network access. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted and that strain is minimized at termination points to prevent damage to the plug or cable. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends, heavy compression, or running the cable parallel to high‑power electrical lines that may introduce interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP PIMF cable for critical links where shielding improves signal integrity. For installations through conduits or ceilings, verify bend radius compliance and leave service slack near termination points. If connecting devices across long distances within a building, combine this cable with proper patching and labeling practices to maintain organized and maintainable cabling infrastructure.
