Verkkojatkokaapeli ShiverPeaks 08-62055 PIMF RJ45 – jatkokaapeli Ethernet-yhteyksiin

ShiverPeaks 08-62055 is a network extension cable with PIMF termination and RJ45 connector designed to extend Ethernet connections reliably and conveniently. The cable offers an in-line extension solution suitable for connecting switches, routers, patch panels, wall outlets and networked devices where extra length or a simple connector interface is required. Its construction targets stable signal transmission for copper Ethernet links and supports tidy cabling in office or home network environments.

Advantages

The extension cable features PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) shielding and S/FTP structure to reduce electromagnetic interference and provide improved crosstalk performance compared to unshielded alternatives. The halogen-free jacket reduces harmful emissions in case of fire, while the RJ45 plug termination allows quick plug-and-play connection without additional tools. The black outer jacket and flexible design enable discreet routing and straightforward installation in existing network topologies.

Suitable for

• Extending patch panel ports to nearby switches or wall outlets
• Temporarily increasing reach between network devices, e.g., router to switch
• Connecting computers, printers or IP devices when fixed runs are too short
• Use in office, server room or home network setups requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP with PIMF (pairs in metal foil) shielding
• Ethernet connector: RJ45 male plug on the extension end
• Conductor: stranded copper suitable for flexible patching
• Jacket: halogen-free outer sheath, black color
• Category: compatible with high-performance copper Ethernet standards (Cat7 raw cable construction)
• Length: 5.0 m (fixed cable length for in-line extension)

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug of the extension cable into the existing RJ45 socket on the device, patch panel or wall outlet, and connect the opposite end to the network cable or device that requires additional reach. The cable is intended for in-line extension and should be routed to avoid tight bends or mechanical strain. No special configuration or tools are required for basic operation; after connecting, network devices will detect the physical link according to their own network settings.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or strong EMI sources. Ensure both connectors are fully seated and protected from moisture and mechanical stress. Use the shielded extension in environments where improved immunity to interference is desired, and verify that connected equipment supports shielded cabling and proper grounding if needed.
