Verkkokaapeli BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-1M SFP+ 10GBASE-SR 1 metri sininen

The BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-1M SFP+ 10GBASE-SR 1 Meter Blue is an active optical cable engineered for short-range 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Infiniband links. This 1 meter SFP+ AOC offers plug-and-play connectivity between compatible SFP+ ports, delivering low-latency, high-bandwidth transmission for data center and enterprise network environments. The cable’s blue jacket provides visual identification in structured cabling setups while its factory-terminated SFP+ connectors eliminate field termination and simplify installation.

Advantages

The active optical design reduces electromagnetic interference and enables consistent 10GBASE-SR performance over a short distance. With SFP+ form-factor connectors, the cable supports hot-plug insertion and automatic negotiation with supported network equipment. Its pre-terminated construction ensures uniform optical quality and reduces installation time compared with separate fiber patch cords and transceivers.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-1M by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ slot on the network devices until the latch clicks. Ensure devices are powered and that the host ports support 10GBASE-SR or compatible SFP+ AOC modules. No additional transceivers or field termination are required. After insertion, verify link lights and check device interface status through the network equipment management interface.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive tensile stress. Use this 1 m AOC for short-reach connections within racks or between adjacent rack units. Confirm compatibility with your switch or host vendor’s supported SFP+ modules and firmware; where vendor restrictions apply, refer to the device documentation before deployment.
