Verkkokaapeli BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-25M SFP+ 10GBASE-SR 25 metriä sininen

The BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-25M SFP+ 10GBASE-SR 25 Meter Blue is an active optical cable engineered for short-range, high-speed network links. Designed to meet 10GBASE-SR specifications, the cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and compatible Infiniband interconnects over a 25 metre active optical assembly. The integrated SFP+ connectors provide a compact transceiver form factor for direct connection between SFP+ ports without separate transceiver modules, delivering predictable low latency and consistent throughput for switches, servers and storage systems.

Advantages

This active optical cable combines the performance of multimode short-range optics with the simplicity of a fixed, factory-terminated SFP+ assembly. It reduces signal loss and electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives and maintains stable 10 Gbps links across the full 25 metre length. The pre-terminated design simplifies installation, eliminates the need for separate patch cords and transceivers, and helps ensure compatibility with equipment that supports the SFP+ form factor and 10GBASE-SR protocol.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP+ AOC by inserting each pre-terminated SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ ports on the two devices to be connected. Ensure both endpoints support SFP+ modules and the 10GBASE-SR standard. No additional transceiver or fibre patching is required. After seating the connectors, verify link status via device LEDs or management interfaces and confirm the link negotiates at 10 Gbps. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; secure it along rack guides or cable management channels as needed.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid exceeding the specified bend radius and protect connectors from dust when not mated. Use this AOC in short-reach optical runs within data centers, equipment racks and server rooms where 25 metre reach and SFP+ compatibility meet topology requirements. Verify device vendor compatibility lists if required by your infrastructure policies.
