Verkkokaapeli DELOCK 80257 — Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP), RJ-45 - RJ-45, 3 m, musta

DELOCK 80257 is a 3 m network patch cable compliant with the Cat6a specification. The cable features S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic and radio frequency interference and is terminated with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet links for fast data transmission in office or home network environments and provides a straightforward connection between switches, patch panels, routers and networked devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP (S‑STP) construction provides enhanced protection against external interference while maintaining cable flexibility for routing in cabinets and under desks. The 3 m length strikes a balance between reach and tidy cable management. Included coloured secure clips allow visual identification and secure attachment to the plug boot, and the supplied locking mechanism lets you lock the RJ‑45 plug into sockets on panels or switches to prevent unauthorised disconnection.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches and servers
• Patching between wall outlets, patch panels and network devices
• Office and home network setups requiring shielded cabling
• Environments where cable locking or color identification is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45
• Length: 3 m
• Color: Black
• Data rate support: up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of the device or patch panel and insert the other RJ‑45 connector into the corresponding port on the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. To mark or secure the cable, attach one of the supplied coloured secure clips to the bend‑protection boot. To lock the RJ‑45 plug into a compatible jack, engage the locking mechanism and keep the supplied key in a secure place to unlock when necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid tight bends and excessive strain on the cable. Use the locking function when cables are installed in shared racks or public areas to prevent accidental or unauthorized disconnection. When deploying shielded cables, ensure connected equipment and infrastructure provide proper grounding for optimal EMI protection.
