Verkkokaapeli Digitus CAT 6 U/FTP ohut patch-kaapeli RJ-45 Cat6 2m harmaa

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 U/FTP Slim patch cord (2 m) is a slim, flexible Ethernet cable designed for space-saving routing and reliable data transmission. It features U/FTP shielding to reduce interference, copper conductors and an LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer sheath for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emission. The transparent red RJ‑45 connector identifies Category 6 (250 MHz) performance while the grey cable colour suits professional installations.

Advantages

The small outer diameter of 4.8 mm and a flexible sheath enable routing in confined spaces and easier cable management. Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, the patch cord delivers verified performance up to 250 MHz, including NEXT characteristics. A molded boot with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection reduces connector damage and prolongs service life.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and switches in office and data centre racks
• Horizontal and workstation cabling in limited-space environments
• Applications requiring Category 6 performance (up to 250 MHz)
• Environments where LSZH jackets are required for improved fire safety

How to use

Connect the RJ‑45 connector on each end of the patch cord to the corresponding ports on networking equipment (switch, patch panel, network outlet or device). Ensure the latch clicks into place to secure the connection. Route the slim cable through cable management channels or trays, taking advantage of its 4.8 mm diameter for tight bends and space-saving paths. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve performance and the integrity of the LSZH jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the DIGITUS CAT 6 U/FTP slim patch cord within a compliant Category 6 channel and avoid bundling large numbers of cables without adequate separation to minimise crosstalk. Inspect connectors and boots for damage before installation and maintain bend radius recommendations from the equipment manufacturer.
