Verkkokaapeli Digitus CAT 6 U/UTP patch-kaapeli RJ-45 Cat6 10 m musta

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 U/UTP patch cord (10 m) is a Category 6 Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. It features copper conductors, RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a transparent red colored plug to identify Category 6 performance. The cable jacket uses LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material for improved fire behaviour and reduced smoke emissions, and the cable is PoE+ ready.

Advantages

Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, this DIGITUS patch cord provides performance up to 250 MHz including NEXT characteristics. Each cable is equipped with a molded boot that offers kink protection, strain relief and an integrated latch protection to prevent the latching lever from breaking. The transparent red connector allows quick identification of Category 6 cabling.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and data centers requiring Cat6 performance
• Network connections between switches, patch panels and network devices
• Environments needing LSZH jacket for reduced smoke in case of fire
• PoE/PoE+ powered devices such as IP phones, access points and cameras

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 (Class E), performance up to 250 MHz
• Length: 10 m
• Conductor: Copper (Cu)
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45, transparent red plug
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• PoE: PoE+ ready
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, patch panel or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical strain; use the molded boot with kink protection to reduce stress at the connector. For PoE+ applications confirm device compatibility and power budgets before deployment.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 6 U/UTP patch cord for horizontal and patch cabling where Cat 6 performance is required, and choose LSZH-sheathed cables in areas with strict fire-safety requirements. Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
