Verkkokaapeli Digitus CAT 6A S/FTP verkkokaapeli RJ-45 Cat6a 2 m vihreä

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6A S/FTP patch cord (2 m, green) provides high-performance connectivity for structured cabling systems. With S/FTP shielding and copper conductors, the cable is suitable for environments that require reduced electromagnetic interference and consistent data transmission up to 500 MHz. The PUR (polyurethane) sheath offers oil and UV resistance, making this patch cord appropriate for industrial use and installations with moving parts such as drag chains.

Advantages

The PUR sheath ensures oil and UV resistance and exhibits self-extinguishing behavior, increasing durability in demanding environments. The cable is PoE+ ready and constructed with copper conductors for reliable signal quality. Molded RJ-45 boots include kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to reduce connector stress and extend service life. The product is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6A specifications and delivers tested performance characteristics including NEXT up to 500 MHz.

Suitable for

• Industrial networks and factory floor cabling
• Installations with drag chains or moving cables
• Structured cabling requiring Cat 6A performance and PoE+ support
• Environments where oil or UV exposure is possible

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, patch panel or NIC) and the other plug to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the molded latch protection reduces the risk of breakage. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile force—use the kink protection and strain relief features when passing through ducts or cable channels. For drag chains, allow appropriate slack and secure the cable according to the chain manufacturer’s guidelines.

Recommendations

For optimal lifetime and performance, keep the cable away from strong heat sources and sharp edges, avoid permanent tension, and follow the maximum bend radius recommended for Cat 6A cables. Clean connectors as needed and verify channel compliance when used in certified installations.
