Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik 0,5 m Cat6a RJ-45 S/FTP harmaa

The EFB Elektronik 0.5m Cat6a RJ-45 S/FTP Grey networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It supports Cat6a performance with S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity across connected devices. The compact 0.5 m length and grey jacket make it suitable for tidy, short-distance links in racks, patch panels, or desktop setups.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable provides up to 10000 Mbit/s data transfer capability and is built with S/FTP shielding — a combination of an overall foil shield and individually shielded twisted pairs — to minimise crosstalk and external interference. The RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports, while the short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable clutter and signal attenuation common in longer runs.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network switches and patch panels
• Direct connections from desktops or servers to nearby network ports
• Cable management in rack or cabinet environments where space is limited
• High-speed Ethernet setups requiring improved shielding to limit interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Data transfer rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device such as a switch, router, or network interface on a computer, and plug the other end into the corresponding port. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable, and ensure connectors are fully seated. Use the 0.5 m length for short, direct links where minimal slack and tidy routing are desired.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in environments where electromagnetic interference may affect signal quality, and pair it with compatible shielded ports or connectors to maintain the shielding continuity. Avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for extended distances and replace the cable if connector damage or persistent link issues occur.
