Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik K5528GN.0.5 RJ-45 Cat8.1 0,5 m vihreä

The EFB Elektronik K5528GN.0.5 is a Cat8.1 RJ-45 patch cable with a length of 0.5 m, designed for high-speed copper Ethernet links. It supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications, offers S/FTP (S-STP) shielding for improved signal integrity, and operates up to 2000 MHz with a recommended maximum transmission distance of 30 m for Cat8.1 links.

Advantages

This green Cat8.1 cable provides high bandwidth for short-reach, high-speed connections and is terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with existing network equipment. The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the 0.5 m length makes it suitable for tidy, short patching in racks and high-density setups.

Suitable for

• 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T short-reach links
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch patching in racks
• High-speed workstations and network appliances requiring RJ-45 connectivity

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45
• Bandwidth/frequency: up to 2000 MHz
• Supported data rates: up to 40000 Mbit/s (40 Gbit/s)
• Shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
• Colour: Green
• Maximum recommended transmission distance for Cat8.1: 30 m

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs to compatible ports on network devices such as switches, servers or network appliances. Use this 0.5 m patch cable for short, direct connections inside racks or between adjacent devices. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and that ports support 25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T where those speeds are required. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress on the cable and connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth copper connections; verify both endpoints and intermediate equipment support the intended 25G/40GBASE-T speeds. For runs longer than the Cat8.1 recommended distance, choose appropriate fiber or copper solutions designed for longer reach.
