Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik K8015.0,50 RJ-45 Cat5e 0,5 m keltainen

The EFB Elektronik K8015.0,50 RJ-45 Cat5e 0.5 m Yellow is a short, shielded network patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact setups. With Cat5e performance and a 0.5 m length, this cable is suitable for direct device-to-switch or patch panel connections where a short run is required. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility for cable management and identification in racks and workstations.

Advantages

The cable supports Cat5e performance levels, providing stable data transfer for typical Ethernet networks. It uses an SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielded construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with potential electrical noise. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure easy plug-and-play installation and a compact 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or access point to a nearby switch or wall port
• Patching between ports in server racks, patch panels, or network cabinets
• Short runs in office desks, meeting rooms, or AV setups where color-coded cabling helps identification

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Maximum data rate: up to 2500 Mbit/s
• Shielding: SF/UTP (S-FTP)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the appropriate network ports on your devices until the connector latches. Use the cable for direct connections between devices such as PCs, switches, routers, or patch panels. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain a gentle bend radius near connectors. For installations in racks or bundles, route the cable along cable management channels to preserve shielding and minimize strain.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m Cat5e shielded cable for short, visible connections where interference reduction and color-coded identification are important. Keep the cable away from strong electrical sources and do not exceed recommended bend radius to maintain performance.
