Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik K8100GE.0,25 RJ-45 Cat6 0,25 m keltainen

The EFB Elektronik K8100GE.0,25 is a 0.25 m Cat6 networking cable engineered for short connections where high data throughput and clear identification are required. Offering Cat6 performance with U/UTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this yellow patch cable is intended for reliable link segments between devices, patch panels and switches in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports high-speed data transfer up to 5000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding local area network links over short distances. The U/UTP shield reduces susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility for tight routing. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide corrosion resistance and stable contact integrity for frequent insertion cycles. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility and helps with orderly cable identification in racks and bundles.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded twisted pairs with overall foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Data rate: up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of the source device and the other plug to the target device such as a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click and avoid sharp bends near the ends to maintain transmission performance. For installations in racks or dense cable runs, route the cable in a way that prevents tensile stress and keeps the yellow cable visible for easy identification.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat6 cable for interconnecting devices within a rack or between adjacent ports where minimal length reduces clutter. Avoid exposing the cable to continuous mechanical strain, extreme temperatures or direct sunlight to preserve shielding effectiveness and connector life. For longer runs or outdoor use select an appropriate cable type rated for those conditions.
