Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat5e RJ-45 10 m keltainen

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat5e networking cable, 10 m in length and yellow in colour, is built for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. The cable uses S/FTP (foil and braid shielded) construction and TIA/EIA 568B coded RJ-45 connectors with protective boots and length imprint on the boot, providing a compact, high-density connection with improved handling.

Advantages

Foil and braid shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for more stable signals. Protected boot and compact connector design increase resistance to mechanical stress and make the cable easier to route in dense installations. TIA/EIA 568B coding ensures compatibility with standard network equipment. The visible length imprint on the boot helps with cable identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Ethernet connections up to Cat5e performance in home networks
• Office workstations and desk-to-switch cabling
• Patch panels and high-density rack environments
• Short to medium length horizontal runs (10 m)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil and braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, TIA/EIA 568B coded
• Length: 10 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Boot: Protected design with length imprint

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as routers, switches, computers or patch panels. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For installations in racks or patch panels, use appropriate cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on the connector boots.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within Cat5e distance limits and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Inspect connector boots and the length imprint during installation to verify cable identity, and replace the cable if connector damage or shielding compromise is visible.
