Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a RJ-45 0,5 m sininen

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat6a networking cable is a halogen-free, short patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. It measures 0.5 m and is supplied with two RJ-45 connectors (TIA/EIA 568B coded). The S/FTP PIMF construction and Cat6a specification support signals up to 1000 MHz, reducing crosstalk and external interference for reliable connections in home and office environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable provides improved shielding through pair-wise foil (PIMF) and an overall braided shield, which helps maintain signal integrity at gigabit and 10-gigabit Ethernet speeds. The halogen-free jacket increases safety in enclosed spaces, while the short 0.5 m length is suitable for patching between devices in rack or desktop setups. The cable comes in blue and uses standardized RJ-45 terminations for compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and network ports within racks
• Short links between routers and desktop devices
• High-speed Ethernet applications up to Cat6a / 10 Gigabit where short patching is required

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, ensuring the 568B wiring orientation is maintained if terminating. Use the cable for short patch connections in racks, between switches and patch panels, or between a router and workstation. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to preserve shielding and performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this 0.5 m Cat6a S/FTP patch cable in short-distance interconnects where high bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Do not expose the cable to excessive mechanical stress, liquids, or temperatures outside the manufacturer's specified range; route it to minimize bending radius and avoid running parallel to power lines for extended lengths.
