Verkkokaapeli Extralink parikaapeli CAT6 FTP ulkokäyttöön 305m musta

EXTRALINK CAT6 FTP is a Category 6 F/UTP outdoor network cable designed for reliable data transmission up to 250 MHz. The cable contains four colour-coded twisted copper pairs with waterproof tape and an aluminum-polymer foil screen within a PE sheath. It is supplied in a 305 m length and a black outer jacket, and meets cabling requirements of ISO/IEC 11801-1, EN 50173-1 and ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 as well as cable standards IEC 61156-5 and EN 50288-6-1.

Advantages

The cable construction provides moisture protection for outdoor installations, with a waterproof core tape and a PE outer sheath. F/UTP screening reduces electromagnetic interference for stable high-speed links. Mechanical and electrical characteristics — including defined bending radii, wide operating temperature range and limited tensile stress — make the cable suitable for professional exterior cabling and installations requiring durability and signal integrity.

How to use

Prepare the cable ends by removing the outer PE sheath and foil screen carefully to expose pairs and the drain wire. Terminate pairs with compatible Cat6 RJ45 keystone jacks or patch panels following the standard pair colour code (white-blue/blue, white-orange/orange, white-green/green, white-brown/brown). Observe the recommended bending radius and tensile limits during pulling to avoid damage to the conductor and screening. Ensure properly sealed and insulated outdoor terminations to preserve water resistance.

Recommendations

For outdoor runs use suitable weatherproof junction boxes or sealed glands at transition points and maintain correct bend radii when routing the cable. Avoid long unsupported vertical drops and protect the cable from direct mechanical damage; ensure terminals are insulated to retain moisture protection.
