Verkkokaapeli GOOBAY 51563 Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) 0,5 m RJ-45 valkoinen/sininen

GOOBAY 51563 is a 0.5 m Cat6a network patch cable with S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding and RJ‑45 connectors on both ends. Designed for 10GBase‑T applications, this short patch lead offers gold‑plated contacts for reliable signal transfer and a two‑colour white/blue jacket for easy identification in patch panels and cable runs. The construction uses high‑quality inner conductors and robust sheathing to support high‑speed data transmission and maintain stable connections in dense network environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding minimizes crosstalk and external interference for improved signal integrity at 10 Gbps data rates over short distances. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts reduce oxidation and ensure consistent electrical contact. The compact 0.5 m length is optimized for short interconnects between switches, patch panels and workstations, reducing cable clutter and improving airflow in racks.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switch and patch panel
• Interlinking network equipment in rack-mounted setups
• Connections from wall outlets to desktop workstations
• 10GBase‑T lab and office environments requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 on both ends with gold‑plated contacts
• Supported technology: 10GBase‑T
• Jacket colour: White with blue marking

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network port on the switch, patch panel or network outlet and the other plug to the corresponding port on your target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain recommended bend radius for shielded cables and keep the cable clear of high‑power electrical sources to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m GOOBAY Cat6a S/FTP patch cable for short, high‑speed links in structured cabling systems. Where possible, route shielded patch cables together with other shielded infrastructure and ensure proper grounding of equipment to maximise the benefits of the S/FTP shielding.
