Verkkokaapeli Goobay 94392 RJ-45 Cat6 20 m musta

The Goobay 94392 networking cable is a 20 m Cat6 U/UTP cable designed for reliable data transmission up to 1000 Mbit/s. It comes with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a black double-layer polyethylene outer jacket that resists weathering and UV radiation, making it suitable for outdoor installations such as gardens, camping sites, building facades and surveillance camera connections.

Advantages

The double-layer polyethylene jacket provides enhanced protection against moisture, UV exposure and mechanical wear while maintaining flexibility. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contacts and corrosion resistance. Cat6 specification and U/UTP construction support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks for Gigabit performance over the 20 m length.

Suitable for

• Outdoor Ethernet runs in gardens and yards
• Temporary or permanent connections at campsites
• Network cabling on building exteriors and facades
• Wiring for surveillance cameras and security systems

How to use

Route the cable from the network source to the destination avoiding sharp bends and sources of excessive heat. Terminate both ends into RJ-45 ports or patch panels and ensure connectors are fully inserted. For outdoor runs, secure the cable with UV-resistant clips or cable ties and maintain a gentle curvature to prevent stress. If running through walls or conduits, follow building regulations and use appropriate grommets or sleeves to protect the jacket.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor installations, avoid direct burial unless specified by the manufacturer; use conduit or protective tubing where possible. Periodically inspect connectors and the outer jacket for damage and replace the cable if significant wear or cracking is observed.
