Verkkokaapeli Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 0,25 m oranssi S/FTP

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 networking cable, 0.25 m long, is constructed as an S/FTP (screened foil with braided outer shield) double screened twisted pair cable with pair-sequence according to EIA/TIA 568. The moulded, slim-line connectors include strain relief with length indication and 50 µ gold-plated RJ-45 contacts, and the cable is Cat 7 tested up to 600 MHz.

Advantages

The S/FTP design (pairs in metal foil plus braided outer shield) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the 50 µ gold-plated contacts provide stable, corrosion-resistant connections. The slim-line moulded strain relief ensures secure connector retention and compatibility with patch panels, and the short 0.25 m length is suitable for tidy, high-density installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in racks and patch panels where short patch leads are needed
• High-frequency data transmission up to 600 MHz in Gigabit and multi-gigabit LANs
• Home and office network connections requiring durable, shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP double screened twisted pair
• Pairs screening: PIMF (pairs in metal foil)
• Outer shield: braided shield
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, 50 µ gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Colour: Orange
• Tested frequency: Cat 7 up to 600 MHz

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the switch, router or patch panel port. Ensure the slim-line strain relief is fully seated to prevent bending at the connector. Use the short 0.25 m cable to make clean, low-profile connections in patch panels or between adjacent ports to minimise cable clutter.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy mechanical stress at the connector ends. Use this 0.25 m shielded cable for short interconnections; for longer runs select appropriately rated Cat 7 or higher cables of required length.
