Verkkokaapeli Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m networking cable is a 1-meter black Ethernet patch cable designed for high-bandwidth connections in home, office, and data center environments. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) configuration, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while maintaining reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit network performance. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors for straightforward plug-and-play installation with routers, switches, network cards, and patch panels.

Advantages

This Cat 6a S/FTP cable provides enhanced shielding compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple electronic devices or dense cable runs. The 1 m length minimizes excess cable clutter near workstations and rack-mounted equipment. Black jacketing offers a neutral aesthetic suitable for visible installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure wide compatibility with existing network hardware and simple, tool-free deployment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and workstations to switches or wall outlets
• Patching between rack-mounted switches and patch panels in small server rooms
• Short-distance links for VoIP phones, IP cameras, and networked peripherals
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat 6a, S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Black
• Application: Ethernet networking, supports Gigabit and 10 Gigabit links over appropriate infrastructure

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the switch, router, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting of the cable; maintain gentle curves and route the cable away from power lines or strong EMI sources. The S/FTP shielding requires no special handling during typical installation, but proper grounding of connected equipment may be necessary in environments with strong interference.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short patching runs where improved shielding and reduced crosstalk are beneficial. Keep the cable length appropriate to the run to avoid slack, and replace damaged or kinked cables to maintain network reliability.
