Verkkokaapeli Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 15 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 15 m networking cable is a 15‑metre, shielded Ethernet cable designed for high‑speed data transmission in home and office environments. With factory‑fitted RJ‑45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded variants. The green jacket identifies the cable in structured cabling installations and helps organise cable runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP design combines an overall braid with individually foiled pairs to reduce external noise and pair‑to‑pair interference, supporting higher bandwidths and more reliable links. The 15 m length covers longer runs between switches, routers and workstations without additional patch panels. Factory‑terminated RJ‑45 plugs ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports and reduce installation time. The cable jacket is colour‑coded green to simplify identification in mixed installations.

Suitable for

• High‑speed Ethernet links up to Cat6a performance
• Home networks, small office and SOHO setups
• Connections between routers, switches, NAS and desktop computers
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat 6a S/FTP (shielded, foiled twisted pair)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 on both ends
• Colour: Green
• Application: Ethernet data transmission, structured cabling

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 connector to the network device (router, switch or modem) and the other RJ‑45 connector to the target device (PC, NAS or another network device). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab clicks. For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable or running it parallel to power lines for extended lengths. Use cable management such as clips or ties to prevent strain on connectors and to keep runs organised.

Recommendations

Install the cable in environments where shielding will reduce noise — for example near power distribution or electrical equipment. For permanent in‑wall installations, confirm local building codes and use appropriate conduit or in‑wall rated cable. Test links with a suitable network tester to verify Cat6a performance and continuity after installation.
