Verkkokaapeli Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 2 m

The Networking Cable Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 2 m is a 2-meter Ethernet patch cable designed for structured cabling in home and office networks. It uses Category 6a specifications with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The white jacket provides a discreet appearance for wall-mounted routers, patch panels, or desktop connections while supporting high-speed data transmission.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers improved protection against external interference and limits pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, which helps maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. The Cat 6a specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper for typical short-run connections, and the 2 m length reduces excess cable clutter for tidy installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network devices and switches.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and patch panels in small office or home networks
• High-speed data transfers and 10 Gigabit Ethernet at short distances
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is needed (near power lines, dense cabling)
• Clean visible installations where a white cable is preferred for aesthetics

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat 6a S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: White
• Intended use: Ethernet network patch cable for data transmission

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router, or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. The 2 m length is suitable for short runs between desks and nearby network equipment.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short, high-speed links where shielding is beneficial. Do not over-bend or excessively tension the cable; maintain minimum bend radius consistent with typical Ethernet cabling practice to preserve performance.
