Verkkokaapeli Helos CAT6a S/FTP (PIMF) 30 m magenta

The Helos CAT6a S/FTP (PIMF) networking cable in magenta is a 30 m patch cable designed for high-speed wired Ethernet connections. Built for 10GBase-T networks, it supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses a screened S/FTP (PIMF) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with routers, switches and patch panels while the magenta jacket provides clear visual identification in dense cable installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to improve signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The cable's 30 m length covers medium-distance interconnects without intermediate joins, and the 10GBase-T specification ensures support for multi-gigabit and 10 Gbps ethernet links. Standard RJ-45 terminations maintain interoperability with common network equipment, and the colored jacket helps with organized cable management and quick identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms and wiring closets
• High-speed workstation connections for data-intensive applications
• Structured cabling runs where interference protection is required
• Home labs or small office networks needing clear visual cable identification

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Data transfer rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs, PIMF)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Route the Helos CAT6a S/FTP cable between network devices ensuring there are no sharp bends or kinks; maintain bend radius recommended for Cat6a class cables and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports of switches, routers or endpoints. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories and avoid tight compression that could damage the shield or conductors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this S/FTP CAT6a cable in environments where EMI or crosstalk could affect signal quality. Test the link after installation with a certified Ethernet tester to verify 10GBase-T compliance and transmission performance. When planning cable runs, allow some service slack and label both ends for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
