Verkkokaapeli Lindy 20 m Cat.6 RJ-45 U/UTP oranssi

Network Cable Lindy 20m Cat.6 RJ-45 U/UTP Orange is a 20-metre Cat.6 Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for data transmission up to 250 MHz and compatible with Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T). The cable is an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and is supplied individually in a polybag. The orange PVC jacket provides visible identification in installations.

Advantages

The Cat.6 U/UTP design supports operating frequencies up to 250 MHz while maintaining the electrical parameters required for Gigabit Ethernet. Gold-plated contacts reduce the risk of corrosion and ensure reliable long-term connectivity. The connector features a snagless strain relief to prevent latch damage during installation and removal, and the cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards.

Suitable for

• Home network installations
• Office LAN and workstation connections
• Patch panels and wall ports in structured cabling
• Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Topology: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Orange
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 connector on one end of the Lindy Cat.6 cable to the network port of your switch, router or PC and the other end to the corresponding device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it alongside high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. The snagless strain relief reduces the risk of damaging the latch when pushing the connector into tight ports.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within typical office/home distances for horizontal cabling and avoid excessive bending near the connector. Keep separation from power cabling where possible and verify network link speed settings on connected devices to ensure Gigabit operation.
