Verkkokaapeli Lindy Cat.6 SSTP S/FTP PIMF Premium 2 m sininen

The Lindy Cat.6 SSTP S/FTP PIMF Premium 2m Blue is a 2-meter Cat6 network cable designed for data transmission up to 250 MHz and supporting Ethernet speeds up to 1 GBase-T. The cable uses an overall braided shield with foil-shielded individual pairs (S/FTP) and is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801. A halogen-free LSZH jacket reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogens, making the cable suitable for use in public and commercial spaces. The connector features gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain-relief design for reliable, long-term connections.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) shielding provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Gold-plated contacts ensure corrosion resistance and consistent signal transfer over time. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal, reducing the risk of physical damage. The LSZH outer sheath limits smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, aligning with safety requirements in public areas.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (1 GBase-T)
• AV extension and multimedia installations
• Office and data centre patching
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6, ISO/IEC 11801 compliant
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair, PIMF)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Supported Ethernet: up to 1 GBase-T
• Length: 2 m
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to your network device (router, switch, PC or AV equipment) and the other to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid kinking or excessive pulling to maintain performance and prevent damage to the internal pairs and shielding. For best results, keep the cable length within the specified 2 m and separate it from strong electromagnetic sources when possible.

Recommendations

Use this Lindy Cat.6 SSTP S/FTP PIMF Premium cable for short to medium patch runs where Gigabit performance, effective shielding and low-smoke halogen-free materials are required. Inspect connectors before installation and avoid over-tightening cable ties to preserve shielding and cable integrity.
