Verkkokaapeli Lindy Cat.6 SSTP S/FTP PIMF Premium 20 m musta

The Lindy Cat.6 SSTP S/FTP PIMF Premium networking cable, 20 m, provides shielded Cat.6 performance for data transmission up to 250 MHz and supports Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable is manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 and features an LSZH (halogen-free) outer sheath, making it suitable for installations in public spaces where low smoke and no halogen emissions are required. The product is supplied individually in a polybag and comes in black with gold-plated contacts for long-term corrosion resistance.

Advantages

The S/FTP (SSTP) construction combines a braided overall shield with foil shielding for each twisted pair, reducing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-resistant connections. A snagless plug design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and eliminates halogen emissions in case of fire.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) networks
• AV extension and professional network installations
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling (public buildings)
• Wired connections between switches, routers, PCs and networked devices up to 20 m

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 (S/FTP, PIMF / SSTP)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Ethernet support: up to 1GBase-T
• Length: 20 m
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Outer sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Standard: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to your network device (switch, router, PC, AV equipment) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless design protects the latch during handling. For best performance, avoid tight bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. The 20 m length allows flexible placement of equipment within medium-sized rooms or rack configurations.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, maintain bend radii greater than four times the cable diameter and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines. Use the shielded cable with grounded patch panels or connectors to benefit fully from the S/FTP shielding.
