Verkkokaapeli LogiLink Cat.6 100 m harmaa

The LogiLink Cat.6 100m Grey networking cable is a 100-metre U/UTP cable designed for structured data cabling in homes and offices. The cable supports Cat6 performance levels for high-speed Ethernet connections and is supplied as a bulk reel without pre-attached connectors, allowing termination with RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks as required. Its grey jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible runs and the cable weight and construction are suitable for standard installation work.

Advantages

The cable offers Cat6 performance with U/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Supplied in a 100 m length, it reduces the need for joins and provides flexibility in routing. The absence of factory-fitted connectors makes the cable adaptable to custom installations and different termination methods. A durable outer jacket and standard cable weight make it compatible with typical cable management systems and installation practices.

Suitable for

• Installing structured Ethernet runs in homes and small offices
• Terminating to RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks for switches, routers and patch panels
• High-bandwidth applications such as Gigabit Ethernet and multimedia streaming
• Cable routes where a neutral grey jacket is preferred for visible runs

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall unshielded with individually unshielded pairs)
• Length: 100 m
• Connectors: none fitted (bulk cable for field termination)
• Colour: Grey
• Weight (approx.): 2.8 kg

How to use

Plan the cable route and measure required lengths ensuring the 100 m reel is sufficient for the run. Cut and strip the outer jacket carefully at termination points, then separate and prepare individual pairs for termination. Terminate the cable to compatible RJ45 plugs, keystone jacks or patch panels following standard Cat6 pinout and termination procedures, using appropriate tools (crimping tool, cable tester). Secure the cable along its route with suitable cable clips or cable management hardware, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat6 performance, keep individual cable runs under 100 metres between active devices, avoid running parallel to mains power for long distances, and test each terminated link with a cable tester to verify continuity and performance. Use appropriate RJ45 connectors and termination techniques rated for Cat6 to preserve signal characteristics.
