Verkkokaapeli LOGON UTP Cat.5e vihreä, 5 m, RJ-45–RJ-45

LOGON UTP Cat.5e Green networking cable, 5 m long, is an unshielded twisted pair patch cable designed for standard Ethernet connections. With RJ‑45 plugs at both ends and a Cat5e rating, it supports typical local area network tasks in homes and offices. The green outer jacket allows for quick visual identification in patch panels and cable runs, while the molded boots provide kink protection and strain relief for reliable everyday use.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat5e specification and 4x2 AWG 26/7 twisted-pair construction ensure 100-ohm impedance and stable signal transmission for Fast Ethernet and many gigabit applications within recommended distances. Molded RJ‑45 connectors deliver a consistent connection and the boots reduce connector stress to extend service life. Its 5 m length makes it suitable for desk-to-switch and short horizontal runs without excess cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and printers to switches or routers
• Patch panel connections in small office networks
• Home network wiring between media devices and routers
• Temporary or permanent wiring in server rooms and telecom cabinets for short runs

Key specifications

• Cable type: UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
• Category: Cat5e
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor: 4 pairs, 26 AWG (7 strands)
• Impedance: 100 Ohm
• Connectors: RJ‑45 male to RJ‑45 male with molded boots and strain relief
• Color: Green outer jacket for easy identification

How to use

Plug each RJ‑45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you wish to connect, ensuring a firm click to confirm a secure fit. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, using cable ties or guides if necessary to maintain a neat installation. For patch panel use, insert one end into the panel port and the other into the corresponding switch or device port. Test the connection using network diagnostics or link LEDs to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the UTP cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep it within recommended horizontal run lengths for Cat5e. Use appropriate cable management to prevent excessive bending at the connector boots and replace the cable if connectors or insulation become damaged.
