Verkkokaapeli LOGON UTP Cat5e vihreä 7,5 m, RJ-45–RJ-45

LOGON UTP Cat5e Green 7.5 m is an unshielded twisted-pair Ethernet patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable meets Cat5e performance for typical network tasks and is supplied with a green PVC jacket for easy visual identification in cabling runs. It is intended for connecting routers, switches, modems and network devices in home and office LAN environments.

Advantages

This LOGON Cat5e cable provides reliable 100 Ohm impedance and four twisted pairs (4 x 2 AWG 26/7) for stable data transmission up to Cat5e specifications. Both ends use RJ-45 male connectors with molded boots that include kink protection and strain relief to reduce connector stress and improve durability. The green jacket and spot length marking on the boot simplify identification and cable management in structured cabling or patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches within home or small office networks
• Patching network ports in server rooms and wiring closets
• Temporary or permanent LAN extensions where Cat5e performance is sufficient
• Color-coded cable runs for easy identification and troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Cable type: Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP), Cat5e
• Length: 7.5 m
• Conductor: 4 pairs, 26 AWG (26/7)
• Characteristic impedance: 100 Ohm
• Connectors: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male
• Jacket: Green PVC with molded boot and strain relief
• Wiring: 1:1 straight-through wiring

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable to link network devices such as a computer to a switch, a router to a modem, or to patch between ports on a patch panel. Avoid sharp bends and heavy crushing to maintain signal integrity; the molded boot and strain relief reduce stress at the connector but do not eliminate the need for careful handling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat5e and avoid running this UTP cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce electromagnetic interference. Use color-coded cables like the green LOGON unit to simplify maintenance and documentation in multi-cable installations.
