Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks 08-64052 CAT6 S/FTP PIMF, säikeinen, 08-64052

ShiverPeaks Network Cable 08-64052 is a CAT6 S/FTP PIMF stranded cable engineered for structured cabling and reliable Ethernet links. The design combines individually foil-shielded twisted pairs with an overall braided shield, providing consistent pair geometry and enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference. This cable supports Gigabit Ethernet performance in office and industrial environments where reduced crosstalk and external noise immunity are important.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF construction minimizes near-end and far-end crosstalk by keeping each pair shielded while the overall braid adds mechanical robustness and additional EMI rejection. The stranded conductor offers flexibility for routing and frequent connectorization, making it easier to install in patch panels, equipment racks, and confined spaces. Consistent pair geometry supports stable data transmission up to CAT6 performance levels.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in office networks
• Structured cabling between patch panels and switches
• Industrial installations requiring increased EMI protection
• Flexible patch cable runs and rack-to-equipment links

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Pair construction: PIMF (pairs in metal foil)
• Conductor: stranded for flexibility
• Intended use: Ethernet, structured cabling, patching

How to use

Route the cable following standard installation practices for shielded twisted-pair cabling. Maintain correct terminations with compatible RJ45 connectors and ensure that the shield continuity is preserved by properly grounding the braided shield at one or both ends according to local installation guidelines. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile force during installation to preserve pair geometry and signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this cable with shielded connectors and maintain proper grounding of the cable shield. Keep cable runs away from high-voltage power lines and strong EMI sources, and follow IEEE/TIA wiring standards for CAT6 installations to ensure reliable Gigabit Ethernet links.
