Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks 75712-AB CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, asennuskaapeli 10GbE-verkkoihin

ShiverPeaks 75712-AB CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF bulk data cable is engineered for high-speed Ethernet networks up to 10 Gbps. The cable combines individually shielded pairs with an overall foil and pair-in-metal-foil (PIMF) construction to reduce near-end and far-end crosstalk as well as electromagnetic interference (EMI). Its halogen-free jacket and compliance with professional cabling standards make it suitable for structured LAN deployments, data centers and server rooms where reliable high-bandwidth links and improved noise immunity are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF design provides strong pair-to-pair and external interference protection, improving signal integrity for 10GbE transmission. The cable supports bulk installation and is halogen-free for safer use in confined or public spaces. Robust mechanical construction and consistent impedance control reduce error rates and support long-term stability in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet backbones and horizontal runs
• Data center and server room cabling
• Professional office and campus LAN installations
• Shielded environments with elevated EMI / RFI

Key specifications

• Category performance: CAT 6A, supports 10 Gbps data rates
• Shielding: S/FTP with pair-in-metal-foil (PIMF) and overall foil
• Conductor type: twisted pairs with individually shielded pairs
• Jacket: halogen-free outer sheath
• Application: designed for structured cabling and bulk installation
• Electrical characteristics: impedance controlled for high-frequency transmission

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF cable following standard structured cabling practices. Run the cable in cable trays or conduits to avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling tension. For termination, use connectors and patch panels rated for CAT 6A and shielded terminations; ensure the shielding is properly grounded at the enclosure to maintain EMI protection. Test each installed link with a Category 6A-capable certification tester to verify performance and compliance with required channel specifications.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep separation between power and data cabling where possible, avoid tight bundling that can increase alien crosstalk, and perform end-to-end certification after installation. Use shielded connectors and properly bonded racks or enclosures to preserve the cable's shielding effectiveness in environments with significant electromagnetic interference.
