Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks 75715-AR CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, suojattu, 10GbE:lle

ShiverPeaks 75715-AR CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF is a shielded network cable engineered for reliable 10GbE performance in professional structured cabling. The cable combines individually foil-wrapped pairs with an overall braided shield to minimise alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. It is halogen-free and designed for use in backbone links, server rooms, and high-density switch installations where shielded cabling and compatibility with CAT 6A standards are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF construction provides strong protection against pair-to-pair crosstalk and outside noise, improving signal integrity for high-speed Ethernet traffic. The braided overall shield enhances immunity to EMI while individually shielded pairs reduce NEXT and FEXT. Halogen-free materials decrease harmful emissions in case of fire and the cable's design supports stable 10GbE links over typical CAT 6A distances. The cable's build ensures consistent performance in demanding environments such as data centres and industrial installations.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) backbone and horizontal links
• Server rooms and data centre interconnects
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Structured cabling in commercial and industrial buildings where shielding is required
• High-density rack and cabinet installations

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-wrapped pairs)
• Pair configuration: PIMF (pair-isolated with metal foil)
• Designed for: up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance
• Material: halogen-free outer sheath
• Colour: red
• Typical application: structured cabling, patching and backbone links

How to use

Install the cable according to structured cabling best practices: route and secure cable runs to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, maintain separation from power lines where possible, and terminate using compatible shielded RJ45 connectors and shielded patch panels. Ensure proper grounding of the cable shields and bonded connections at both ends to preserve shielding effectiveness. Test installed links with a certified CAT 6A tester to verify performance and compliance with cabling standards.

Recommendations

For optimal performance use in environments with potential electromagnetic interference and for connections requiring reliable 10GbE throughput. Verify connector compatibility with shielded components and observe recommended bend radius and installation guidelines to maintain signal quality.
