Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks 75717-AR Cat 6A S/FTP PIMF, metritavara-datakaapeli 10G Ethernetille

ShiverPeaks 75717-AR Cat 6A S/FTP PIMF is a bulk data cable engineered for high-speed Ethernet networks, including 10G Ethernet. The cable combines pair-in-metal-foil (PIMF) shielding with an overall screened S/FTP structure to reduce alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Constructed for structured cabling and professional LAN environments, it provides consistent signal integrity and supports demanding applications in data centers, server rooms and office backbones.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF design offers improved noise immunity compared with unshielded alternatives, enabling stable high-bandwidth transmission at Category 6A performance levels. Halogen-free jacket materials reduce toxic gas production in case of fire, while quality-controlled manufacturing and certification ensure compliance with industry standards. The cable’s mechanical flexibility and precise pair geometry help simplify installation and maintain performance over long cable runs.

Suitable for

• 10G Ethernet links in data centers and server rooms
• Structured cabling for office LAN backbones
• High-density patch panels and rack-mounted network equipment
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6A, suitable for 10G Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil shielded twisted pairs) with pair-in-metal-foil (PIMF)
• Jacket: halogen-free outer sheath
• Compliance: manufactured to industry Cat 6A performance standards and certified for channel/Link performance
• Color and format: available in red, bulk cable length for on-site termination and patching

How to use

Install the cable according to structured cabling best practices: route and secure runs to avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile stress, maintain separation from power lines and sources of interference, and terminate with compatible Cat 6A S/FTP connectors or keystone jacks designed for shielded pairs. Use proper grounding of the overall screen at designated points and follow manufacturer guidelines for bend radius and pull tension to preserve electrical performance.

Recommendations

For optimal 10G performance, test each installed link with a certified network tester and verify shield continuity and pair balance. When routing through cabinets and conduits, avoid crushing the cable and maintain recommended segregation from mains cables to minimize EMI.
