verkkokaapeli shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 7.5m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable 7.5m is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections. With U/FTP (STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this red 7.5-metre cable supports up to 10 Gbps data transfer rates and is intended for applications that require stable, low-interference network links.

Advantages

U/FTP (STP) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over longer runs. Cat7 specification and quality RJ-45 terminations provide compatibility with modern network hardware while enabling high-speed throughput. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for home and office setups, and the colored jacket helps with cable identification in dense installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed home networking for gaming and 4K/8K streaming
• Office workstations and wired internet access points
• Small server or NAS connections requiring low-latency links
• Cable runs where interference shielding is important

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Jacket colour: red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the cable to your router, switch, modem or network interface card and the other end to the target device such as a PC, game console or media player. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve cable shielding and performance. For best results, route the cable away from high-power electrical sources and large bundles of unshielded cables to minimize residual interference.

Recommendations

Use the ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 cable for wired links that demand consistent throughput and reduced interference. For optimal 10 Gbps performance, pair the cable with compatible networking hardware that supports 10 Gbps Ethernet and ensure connectors and ports are clean and undamaged.
