Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45 - RJ-45 20 m vihreä

ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP (S‑STP) RJ-45 to RJ-45 20 m Green is a shielded Ethernet cable engineered for high-speed wired networks. With Cat7 performance and S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding, this 20-metre cable provides stable copper connectivity between switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a robust outer jacket ensure reliable physical connections and corrosion resistance for long-term installations in homes and offices.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP (S‑STP) construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidths suitable for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide low contact resistance and improved durability. The 20 m length and flexible jacket allow for tidy routing while maintaining signal integrity across longer runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches, routers and patch panels in structured cabling systems
• High-speed Ethernet and gigabit/multi-gigabit links for office networks
• Home network backbones and media streaming setups requiring shielded cabling
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 20 metres
• Cable colour: Green
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper conductors suitable for Ethernet (per Cat7 standard)
• Jacket: durable outer sheath for indoor installations

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until the clip clicks. Avoid sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain a bend radius consistent with standard Ethernet cabling practice to preserve signal performance. For installations near sources of strong electromagnetic interference, use the cable's shielded connectors and ensure proper grounding of connected equipment where applicable. Test the link with a network tester after installation to confirm continuity and performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong RF sources, use shielded patch panels or connectors in shielded setups, and verify grounding when integrating into structured cabling. Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for backbone runs and critical links where reduced crosstalk and EMI immunity are required.
