Verkkokaapeli shiverpeaks BASIC-S vihreä 3 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Green 3 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is built for reliable high-speed data transmission in wired network environments. Designed to meet Cat7 performance, this 3-metre cable combines shielded twisted pair construction with foil and braided shielding (S/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance, while the durable outer jacket and precise terminations support stable connections between network devices.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable offers improved signal integrity through comprehensive shielding, lowering the risk of data errors in congested electromagnetic environments. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact reliability and resist oxidation for long-term performance. With a 3 m length and a flexible jacket, the cable is easy to route and install in home, office, or data center setups. The green color helps with visual identification and cable management in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbps within support of Cat7 infrastructure
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices and desktop computers
• Shielded networking runs in areas with potential electromagnetic interference
• Cable management where color-coding simplifies identification

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Conductor arrangement: S/FTP (individual pair foil with overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Outer jacket color: Green
• Typical applications: Ethernet, LAN, network device interconnect

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other connector into the corresponding port on a router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable away from strong power lines or sources of interference where possible to preserve shielding effectiveness. For wall-mounted or rack installations, use appropriate cable clips or ties to avoid sharp bends that could strain the cable.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable within structured cabling runs that support Cat7 or higher standards and avoid excessive bending radii. When connecting devices that require shielded cabling, ensure both ends and the network equipment support grounding for the shield to maximize EMI protection. Use color-coded cables like the green BASIC-S to simplify troubleshooting and organization in multi-cable environments.
