Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS08-35090 harmaa 20 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35090 Grey 20m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in residential and professional environments. This 20-metre patch cable uses Cat7 performance characteristics and U/UTP shielding to support high bandwidth and stable signal transmission. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to maintain reliable contact and minimize corrosion, enabling data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s where network equipment and infrastructure permit.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat7 specification performance with U/UTP shielding to reduce near-end crosstalk and external interference while remaining flexible for installation across home or office spaces. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent electrical contact and resist oxidation, helping to preserve throughput over time. Its 20 m length provides extended reach for connecting devices across larger rooms or between equipment racks without additional couplers.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired Ethernet connections in homes and offices
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS devices, and desktop computers
• Structured cabling runs requiring Cat7 performance and moderate shielding
• Temporary or permanent runs where a 20 m cable length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 20 metres
• Colour: Grey
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s (dependent on network hardware and conditions)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your router, switch, or modem and the other end to the device you want to network, such as a computer, NAS or IP camera. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas of heavy foot traffic; maintain a bend radius appropriate for Ethernet cables to preserve signal integrity. For permanent installations, use cable management accessories and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-power electrical lines to reduce interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 U/UTP cable where improved shielding and higher bandwidth capacity are required compared with lower category cables. Verify that connected devices and network equipment support the desired throughput; otherwise, the actual transfer speeds will be limited by the slowest component in the network chain.
