Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS08-41000-4 Cat8.1 F/FTP keltainen 3 m

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41000-4 Cat8.1 F/FTP Yellow 3m is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments that require very high data rates and strong electromagnetic protection. This 3-meter cable meets Cat8.1 specification and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contacts and low insertion loss. The yellow jacket makes the cable easy to identify in installations and the length is suitable for connecting devices across short to medium distances in server rooms, workstations, or home networking setups.

Advantages

The Cat8.1 construction supports multi-gigabit and 25/40 Gbps capable networks within the specified channel and provides improved return loss and crosstalk performance compared with lower categories. F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually shielded pairs to minimize external electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair disturbance. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance corrosion resistance and ensure consistent connectivity over repeated insertions. The 3 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical rack-to-workstation or switch-to-server connections.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN links in data centers and server rooms
• Connections between switches, routers, and networked storage
• Professional workstations requiring low-latency multi-gigabit links
• Home networks where future-proofing and interference resistance are needed
• Structured cabling runs where color-coded cables improve organization

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 for high-frequency performance
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket color: Yellow for visual identification
• Intended use: Ethernet networking up to multi-gigabit and 25/40 Gbps channel applications where supported by equipment

How to use

Plug the gold-plated RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your network devices such as switches, routers, servers, or network interface cards. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable to maintain signal integrity. For best performance, follow standard structured cabling practices and keep the cable routed away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices to confirm multi-gigabit operation where supported.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in environments where high throughput and interference protection are priorities. Maintain bend radius recommendations from equipment manufacturers, avoid running the cable in direct contact with power lines, and use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors. For channel performance at 25/40 Gbps, ensure that connected hardware and patch panels also support the required standards.
