Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75120 10m Cat5e F/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75120 10m Cat5e F/UTP networking cable is designed for wired Ethernet connections requiring consistent data transfer and reduced electromagnetic interference. This grey patch cable uses Cat5e standard wiring and foil-twisted pair (F/UTP) shielding to support network speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for broad device compatibility.

Advantages

The F/UTP shielding reduces susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in environments with nearby electrical equipment. The 10-metre length provides flexibility in equipment placement without the need for extension hardware. Durable connector housings and strain relief help maintain stable connections and extend service life under repeated use.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and network switches in offices or home networks
• Wired connections for routers, modems, and access points where shielded cabling is preferred
• Temporary or semi-permanent networking setups requiring a 10 m reach

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil around twisted pairs with unshielded overall)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported speed: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Colour: grey

How to use

Insert an RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise for optimal performance. For temporary setups, lay the cable along baseboards or use cable clips; for longer-term installations, consider cable management solutions to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best results use the cable for typical Gigabit Ethernet applications in environments where moderate shielding is sufficient. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and replace the cable if connectors become damaged or contacts corroded.
