Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.5V

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.5V is a 0.5 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable designed for high-speed wired data transmission. It uses individually shielded twisted pairs within an overall braid to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain consistent signal quality. The cable has gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a violet jacket, providing reliable connectivity for network devices in demanding environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP (S-STP) construction minimizes crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable high-bandwidth connections. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure better conductivity. The short 0.5 m length is suitable for tidy, short-link connections between devices where minimal cable slack is desired.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• High-speed Ethernet links up to Cat7 performance levels
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until it clicks. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends near the connector ends. Use the 0.5 m cable for short links to minimize cable clutter and maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep it away from strong EMI sources. Inspect gold-plated contacts for damage before installation and replace the cable if connectors are bent or the shielding is compromised.
